More About Me

My name is Lisa and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), as well as a Registered Nurse. I also have a Bachelors in Public Health.

Health and Wellness have always been my passion, more specifically, women and babies. The human body can do amazing things, which is why I’ve focused my career in Women’s Health. I was a Labor and Delivery nurse for eight years and a Maternity Nurse for three before becoming an IBCLC. I worked at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Chester County Hospital.

After having my first baby, I realized how important it is to have continued care at home. I've been there, getting home from the hospital, nursing my children, and struggling with a latch, painful sessions, worried about how much they are getting, and just exhausted! Those moments had me realize that becoming a lactation consultant is what I truly wanted to do. I wanted to extend my career from the hospital into the home setting by offering breastfeeding support where people feel most comfortable, at their home. Especially if you feel like you're struggling without professional support!

I’ve helped countless families prenatally, immediately after birth during the Golden Hour, and those first initial post partum hospital days with lactation education. Now by opening my own private practice, I continue to assist more families and babies during their transition home, the first few weeks, to months and longer down the road. Every breast feeding journey is unique and has its own set of challenges. It’s been a complete joy to support first time parents to seasoned professionals, while we individualize the experience to fit your own needs.
