More About Me

My name is Lisa and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), as well as a Registered Nurse. I also have a Bachelors in Public Health.

Health and Wellness have always been my passion, more specifically, women and babies. The human body can do amazing things, which is why I’ve focused my career in Women’s Health. I was a Labor and Delivery nurse for eight years and a Maternity Nurse for three before becoming an IBCLC. I worked at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Chester County Hospital.

After having my first, I realized how important it is to have continued care at home. I've been there, getting home from the hospital, nursing my children, and struggling with a latch, worried about my supply, and exhausted. That is when I realized that becoming a lactation consultant is what I truly wanted to do. I wanted to extend my career from the hospital to the home setting and offer breastfeeding support where people feel most comfortable, their home.

I’ve helped countless mothers prenatally, immediately after birth during the Golden Hour, and those first initial post partum hospital days with lactation education. Opening my own private practice allowed me continue to assist moms and babies during their transition home, those first few weeks, to months and longer down the road. Every breast feeding journey is unique and has it's own set of challenges. It’s been a complete joy to support first time parents to seasoned professionals, while we tailor your experience to fit your own needs.
